Our Master Podiatrist, Tracey Meyer, has been practicing for over 20 years. She is committed to continuing her education and is an enthusiastic and active member of the Australian Podiatry Association.
Tracey was educated at St Joseph's College Mildura and then attended University in Adelaide and University of South Australia for 6 years to obtain both her science and podiatry degrees, achieving multiple awards in her final year. She completed a Diploma of Business at Sunraysia Institute of TAFE in 2004. She completed her Masters in Health Science (Podiatry) at the University of South Australia in November 2011 making her one of the most highly educated podiatrists in the Sunraysia area! She recently has recently completed her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at SuniTAFE Mildura with a view to entering into the education and training sector (in her spare time...LOL). Tracey has also completed "Acupuncture for Podiatrists" at Sportsmed in May 2012.
She has had experience in all facets of podiatry, returning to Mildura to work at the Merbein Community Health Centre in 1995. Since this time she has spoken at many local community organisations and officially opened North West Podiatry (now the Irymple Foot Clinic) on 13th October 2003.
Tracey enjoys cross-stitch, knitting, craft, silk/glass painting, fishing, mountain bike riding and organic vegetable gardening, producing fresh fruit, vegetables and eggs for her family - the chooks do the egg bit :). She also enjoys walking and mountain bike riding daily with Andrew (her partner), Bailey (her son) and their two Kelpies Amber and Bundy (the dogs just run, they don't actually ride mountain bikes!).
Tracey and her partner Andrew have three children Amy (23), Tyler (15...going on 24) and Bailey (14). Amy is currently studying her fifth year of a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Monash University (based in Mildura), Tyler lives with his father in the Gold Coast in Queensland and Bailey is in year 8 at Irymple Secondary College.
