Toenails that are painful, thick, ingrown, or infected can be treated by our foot doctors. Pathology samples can also be taken if required.
Ingrown Toenails are very common and can be a result of genetics, footwear, incorrect nail care or trauma. Our foot doctors can provide advice on nail cutting, conservative treatment and where required can perform simple toenail surgery to help prevent this problem reoccurring.
Corns and Callus are hard, thick areas of skin caused by excessive pressure and/or friction. They can be effectively treated by our foot doctors.

Warts are caused by a virus and can occur on the bottom, top, sides of the feet or on the toes. They can be effectively treated by our foot doctors using various methods.
Diabetic Feet - it is recommended by Diabetes Australia that persons with diabetes should have at least an annual check-up by a foot doctor (podiatrist).
Arthritic feet include those with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and gout. Pain may be reduced by treatment from our foot doctors.
Sports injuries including plantar fasciitis, shin splints, sprains, broken toes, achilles tendonitis, and stress fractures are all treated by our foot doctors. X-rays and ultrasound examinations can be ordered if necessary. Ultrasound therapy is also available if indicated. Advice on stretching and strengthening exercises and footwear by our foot doctors is invaluable.
Orthoses are inserts prescribed by our foot doctors for your shoes, they can support, align and improve function. They may be recommended to prevent and/or treat various conditions of the foot and lower limb such as heel pain.
